Jacque believes that Corona deserves an economic development plan that works for all Coronans. To Jacque, the road to community prosperity and good paying jobs is paved with education and workforce development partnerships, solutions to homelessness, and smart development.
Corona is in close proximity to research universities and has Norco College right in its backyard. It is important that we develop partnerships with these world-class institutions to prepare our workforce for the jobs of tomorrow.
With more and more families and children on the streets, Jacque will leverage her strong relationships to deliver critically-needed County, State, and Federal resources to combat homelessness. She will also fight to protect funding for the Corona Police Department’s Homelessness Task Force so that these resources make it to those in need.
Corona is nearly built out and we owe it to our children and grandchildren to be strategic with how we develop remaining land and identify opportunities for revitalization. Jacque supports smart development such as high-tech industries and entrepreneurial small businesses that create high-wage jobs and reinvest in our community, as well as sustainably planned housing developments that mitigate traffic and environmental impacts.
